What is VLCC Way Of Life?

VLCC Way of Life is a unique loyalty programme, exclusively started for our customers. It is a points based programme, in which a customer earns reward points on every bill generated.

VLCC Way of Life has been designed to reward our customers for taking care of their beauty and well-being.

Please note that the membership to VLCC Way of Life comes at no extra cost.


Levels of VLCC Way Of Life

Way of Life has 4 levels Bronze, Silver, Gold and Platinum.

Bronze being the entry level to the programme and Platinum being the most premium.


What is a Way of Life member's ID?

A VLCC Way of Life member's unique ID is his/her mobile number or alternately, his/her landline number.

The mobile number also acts like a points tracker for the member, as every time the member earns points, an SMS is sent on his/her mobile giving the points available to date.

Family Membership

A VLCC Way of Life member can extend her/his membership benefits to 3 more members of the family, i.e., on one membership up to 4 members of a family can avail the services and reap the benefits.

Whenever any member avails the VLCC services, a bill is generated; reward points then automatically get credited to the primary member's account.

 

Upgradation of membership

To understand upgradation of a membership, let's first see the eligibility chart for each level. The customer needs to fulfill either of the 2 criteria's listed below:

As evident from the table above, a member is upgraded to the next level when she/he either:

  • Exceeds the minimum spending criterion of a particular level, or
  • Exceeds the minimum visits criteria on of that level

Let's understand with an example:

In case of exceeding minimum spending criteria:
A customer spends Rs. 5000/- on a single visit and automatically becomes eligible for Bronze membership.

If over the next couple of visits, the total spends to date go up to Rs. 15,000/-, the Bronze member is upgraded to the next level, which is Silver.

In case of exceeding minimum visits criteria:
A customer spends Rs. 5000/- on a single visit and automatically becomes eligible for Bronze membership.

In the next 4 visits she/he spends up to Rs. 1500/-, which makes the total spends of Rs. 6500/- only, even then the Bronze member is upgraded to Silver, as the total number of visits is now 5.

Note: A member can retain the Silver, Gold and Platinum memberships for a year from the date of up gradation, even without any further transaction, as long as they have achieved any one of the 2 criteria required for that level.

After one year, however, if the spends or the visits stagnate or decline, the membership would also be downgraded.

Membership Review

As seen in the 'Upgradation of membership', it is important for a VLCC Way of Life member at any level, to maintain a certain amount of annual spend or number of visits per year to VLCC. Inability to do so on the customer's part, will call for a down gradation of membership.

To understand this better, let's re-look at the eligibility table.

Now, let's take the example of a Platinum member. After upgrading to this level, the Platinum member can retain this membership for one year, even without any further billing.

However, after the completion of one year, if there is little or no change in the number of visits or the spending, the member will slip to the other levels according to her/his spending or visits.

That means, after one year if the Platinum member's annual spends are only Rs. 20,000, she/he will slip to the Silver membership. Likewise, if her/his number of visits per year is only between 6 and 15, she/he will automatically be moved to Gold.

Earning And Redeeming Points

How do members earn points?

You could enroll as a Bronze, Silver, Gold and Platinum member depending upon the spend or number of visits at VLCC, as detailed below. If you haven't already spent amounts that fetch you a higher level of membership, no need to worry. You could still clock the target spend over the next 12 months and then graduate to those levels, Automatically!.

For example, if a Bronze member spends Rs. 5000/- in a single visit for any of the Regular Beauty Services (RBS), she/he earns only 50 points, but if she/he spends the same amount on Slimming and/or Beauty Packages then the points earned are double, i.e., 100. Thus, besides the services available under the Slimming & Beauty Packages a Member avails twice the Reward Points than he/she would have otherwise accrued under RBS.

In the subsequent visits, if the Bronze member spends another Rs. 15,000/-, taking the total spend to Rs. 20,000/-, she/he will automatically upgraded to a Silver Membership and will earn 2 points per Rs. 100 spent but continue to earn only 1 Point for the Regular Beauty Services.

Validity of Points
What is the validity of points earned?

Points earned in one calendar year are valid till 31st December of the next year.

For example, if a member earns 50 points in May 2009 and another 400 points in September 2009, which makes his total points as 450, she/he will have to redeem these points on or before 31st December, 2010 or the points will be forfeited.

On the other hand, if a member earns 500 points in January 2010, the points will be valid till 31st December 2011.

Levels Of Redemption at Various stages Of Point Accumulation:

On accumulating 300 points, the customer will get 2 redemption vouchers worth Rs. 500/- each. Which means the customer gets redemption vouchers of the value of Rs. 1000/- and she/he can redeem these vouchers for any of the services available at any of the local VLCC Centers.

This process is followed at every stage of points accumulation, i. e., for 550 Points, 1000 Points & 1500 Points.

Who can become a member?

Any customer who avails services at any of the VLCC centre and in whose name a bill is generated.

How can I enroll in the Loyalty Program?

Enrollment in the program is very simple, just visit any of the VLCC centers, avail any service, fill up a form & quote your mobile number.

When do I get a membership card?

Your mobile number will be you membership id, which you always carry with you, there will be no burden for you to carry a card.

Is there an enrolment fee?

No, there is no enrolment fee.

Now that I have been enrolled, how do I get points credited into my account?

Simply quote your membership number at the time of billing at VLCC. We request you to please retain the bill till the time points of that purchase have been credited in your account.

Can I include my family's spending into my account ?

Yes, you can include up to 3 family/friends under 1 account, i.e. maximum 1 Primary + 3 Family members under one membership.

How will points be recorded in case of family membership ?

Points of all members of family membership will be credited to the primary account.

Who is a primary member ?

Member who has enrolled under the program first & has added other members is a primary member.

How long would my membership be valid ?

There is no validity for the membership.

What are Bronze, Silver, Gold & Platinum ?

These are the levels of membership in ascending hierarchy ranks - Bronze, Silver, Gold and Platinum. The higher your level, the more the benefits and privileges.

How long will I remain in the same Level ?

Levels are valid for a period of one rolling year starting from the day you have reached that level.

How will I be upgraded to Gold or Platinum level if I am a Bronze customer ?

As evident from the table above, a member is upgraded to the next level when he/she either:

After I spend how long will I take to get upgraded ?

You will take maximum 48 hours to get upgraded; you will be receiving a confirmatory SMS for the same.

Till when can I enjoy the benefits of that level ?

Upgrades of segments are valid for 1 year starting from the date of the upgrade.

What will happen after 1 year ?

You membership will be reviewed after 1 year & basis the table above you will be assigned a segment.

How many points do I get if I am an Silver member ?

At different levels of the program, you earn different points on every Rs. 100/- spent.

How do I earn points when my family avails services at VLCC ?

Even if your family avails services at our centers, points are credited to your account and an SMS conforming the same is sent to you.(Monthly SMS).

How will I know my point's status ?

An SMS, updating you on your points’ status, is sent to you monthly.

How long after my purchase will I get my points conformation SMS ?

You will get the SMS with 48 hours of the purchase followed by a monthly statement.

If there is any discrepancy in the point’s status, what should I do ?

Incase of any discrepancy in points the same to be reported to the VLCC center within 1 month of that last purchase failing to which it will be assumed the account is fine.

When do my points expire ?

How do I redeem points ?

You can redeem by walk-in the VLCC center or through the website, the company will also approach you as & when you become eligible for redemption.

What is the validity of the redemption vouchers ?

Redemption vouchers for VLCC services are valid for a period of 2 months from the date of issue.

Can I redeem my points against multiple services ?

Yes you can use the vouchers against VLCC services. The voucher will not be valid for hair Extension/Re bonding, Cosme-Dermat, International line treatments & Laser.

How long would it take for the voucher to reach me ?

Your vouchers will be handed over to you from the center only.

What do I do In case I have 800 points ?

In a situation like this, you can redeem level of 300 twice. Your balance 200 points will be carried forward, which he can redeem later.

Can I give my redemption vouchers to my friends / family to avail services ?

Yes the redemption vouchers can be used by your friends & family.

I am already a Way of Life customer what happens to my membership ?

All existing customer have automatically been enrolled for the new program.

What happens to the points which I had under Way of Life ?

Your points have been adjusted according to the new WAY OF LIFE criteria.

If I don’t receive SMS conforming my points ?

In case you do not receive the SMS you can always walk in to VLCC center & enquire.

I had 10000 points earlier but now I have got an SMS stating I have only 500 points why ?

We have reworked the entire point’s structure of the program to make it more rewarding for you, we agree that the points have gone down but at the same time you have many exciting options to redeem from.

I do not want this new membership; I want to continue with the Way of Life ?

The old Way of Life membership has been discontinued. The customers have been migrated to the new Way of Life which has been designed to make it more exciting & rewarding for our customers.

Terms & Conditions
  • The “Way of life” Membership Number and membership is transferable to friends and family of the enrolling member. Reward points would be awarded to the member’s account only when the Membership Number is produced at the time of availing of VLCC services.
  • Reward points would not be awarded –
    1. If a member/member’s friend/family fails to produce the Membership Number at the time of availing the service.
    2. For services and products that are offered as rewards to members or beneficiaries redeeming reward points already accumulated.
  • Friends and family members, to whom the “Way of life” members offers the “Way of life” Membership Number for use at VLCC should not be an existing customer of VLCC or a member of the program.
  • Rewards offered under the “Way of life” program cannot be clubbed with any offer or seasonal discount unless specified otherwise.
  • Reward points are awarded against net invoice/bill value. Taxes and levies are exempt from the calculation of reward points.
  • In case where Gift Vouchers are offered as rewards the redemption is deemed to have been complete on receipt of the vouchers by the member and the requisite reward point should be deducted from the member’s account. Non-usage of the voucher within the specified time limits would amount to expiry of reward points.
  • Gift vouchers offered under the “Way of life” program as rewards would be valid for a period specified on the voucher. Expiry of a gift voucher would also entail expiry of the reward points which the member is redeeming. The same would apply to multiple services offered within a single redemption.
  • A “Way of life” member is free to transfer rewards offered to the member to a non-member. The beneficiary who is redeeming the reward is required to provide his/her personal details at the time of redeeming the voucher and agrees to receiving periodic communication from VLCC regarding the program an other offers. The request for redemption is to be signed by the member only.
  • Reward points accumulated under the program would be tracked by VLCC and the same would be displayed on the program website. In case there is a difference in points as reflected on the website and as perceived by a member, the same could be brought to VLCC’s notice through email or through the toll-free number. Discrepancies, if found in VLCC’s records, would be rectified within a reasonable period of time. VLCC reserves the right to ask a member to produce bills/invoices to support such a claim, In case of a dispute, VLCC’s decision will be final and binding.
  • A “Way of life” membership can be revoked or refused if a member/customer is involved in any act of fraud, shoplifting, cheating with or without cause and without notice. The membership could also be revoked if a member is found to be involved in any sort of misuse of the membership Number or the program.
  • All privileges, services and products offered as rewards under the program are subject to availability and the actual time of experience of these privileges and services by the members who are eligible and request redemption is contingent upon the availability of the service.
  • All VLCC services and products offered a rewards under the “Way of life” rewards program are governed by standard warrantees and terms of use applicable to respective VLCC offerings from time to time.
  • VLCC reserves the right to make changes to reward point calculation, milestones, rewards, membership categories and all other program specifics at any point of time at its own discretion without assigning any reason whatsoever.
  • VLCC reserves the right to offer an alternative reward in cases where the choice made by member is found to be no longer available/in stock
  • VLCC reserves the right to modify or close the “Way of life” program at any given time without assigning any reason whatsoever. It reserves the right to close membership – existing or new – for the program temporarily or permanently for a period of time as decide by the management.
  • Benefits and offers made through the program may change or be withdrawn without prior intimation. VLCC will not be responsible for any liability arising from such situations. VLCC will also not be held responsible for any liability arising from the use of offers made by third parties.
  • The “Way of life” membership is currently for individuals only – it is not a corporate membership Number/corporate membership.
  • The “Way of life” program is currently offered only at certain specified VLCC centers and in certain cities only. A member or a customer would not be able/eligible to enjoy the rewards and privileges of the program at other VLCC centers. All terms, conditions, rewards, privileges associated with the program are applicable to specified VLCC centers only.
  • VLCC will maintain and update in electronic form data that is provided by the members at the time of enrolment or through subsequent contact. From time to time VLCC will send marketing communication, promotional SMS and mailers to members and by joining “Way of Life” Program the members give consent to receive such communications.
  • In the event of conflict between these Terms and Conditions and any changes that have been or are made in order to comply with local laws and regulations, the Terms and Conditions so changed will prevail. If the provision of any benefit or facility is prohibited by local law, such benefit or facility will be deemed to be withdrawn.
  • VLCC reserves the right to withdraw, cancel, vary or in any way change, at any time without notice, the “Way of Life” Program or any facility or benefit previously offered or expressed as available as a member of the “Way of Life” Program. VLCC will not be liable for any loss or damage resulting from such withdrawal, cancellation or variation.
  • Any dispute arising would fall under the New Delhi Jurisdiction only.
